You do not need to sort anything out before you come in. As a family-run shop, we are used to helping people work through whatever they bring. Many people arrive with a mix of things and no idea what is worth what. That is normal, and figuring it out is our job.
Common examples we see at the counter:
- An inherited jewelry box with gold chains, costume pieces, and a ring or two mixed together
- A drawer of odds and ends such as single earrings, broken bracelets, or old class rings
- A watch that has not been worn in years, with or without its box and papers
- A coin jar, a proof set, or a folder of old bills passed down from a relative
- A loose diamond or an engagement ring you no longer wear
- Sterling silver flatware or other silver pieces

Gold, silver, and platinum
This category covers items valued mainly for their precious metal: gold chains and bracelets, class rings, broken, mismatched, and scrap pieces, sterling silver flatware, silver bullion, and platinum jewelry. Karat or purity and weight drive the offer, and we show you the math at the counter. If a gold piece also has diamonds or gemstones, the stones are looked at separately from the metal, so it helps to bring the whole piece rather than just part of it.

Jewelry
Fine jewelry is often worth more than its metal alone. Rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, designer pieces, vintage jewelry, and estate or inherited collections are evaluated as finished pieces, not just by weight. Original boxes, certificates, or receipts can help, but they are not required. Broken or single pieces are welcome too.

Watches
We buy luxury watches from brands including Rolex, Omega, and Cartier, along with vintage, automatic, hand-wound, and dress watches. Boxes, papers, and service receipts help when you have them, and watches without paperwork are welcome.

Diamonds
If the diamond is the main part of what you are selling, such as an engagement ring, a loose stone, or diamond stud earrings, the diamond is graded at the counter using cut, color, clarity, and carat. Certified and uncertified diamonds are both welcome.

Coins and currency

A few tips before you visit
- Keep sets and pairs together. Matching earrings, bracelet and necklace sets, and watches with their original bands are easier to evaluate as a group.
- Leave pieces as they are. There is no need to polish jewelry, remove stones from settings, or repair broken chains before you come in.
- Do not clean coins or currency. Cleaning can lower the value of a collectible coin.
- Bring any paperwork you already have. Certificates, watch papers, receipts, and old appraisals can help, but none of them are required.
- Plan a little extra time for large collections. An estate or a full coin collection takes longer to go through, so calling ahead is helpful.

Selling or pawning
Selling and pawning are two different choices. When you sell, the item becomes ours and you leave with cash. When you pawn, the item is held as collateral for a short-term loan. You receive cash, and your item is returned once the loan is repaid. No credit check is required for a pawn loan.
